As any woman can tell you, there is nothing like a girlfriend. And Jean Auletta will have plenty when she moves into her new home at K. Hovnanian's® Four Seasons at Bridgewater.

Recently widowed, Jean decided she needed a new beginning. Since her two daughters reside in New Jersey, it made perfect sense to leave Long Island, where she lived for nearly 40 years, to be closer to her family. "I am alone now and buying a home on my own in a different state was a big step," Jean said. "My hand was shaking and my heart was pounding when I was signing the papers. But everyone at K. Hovnanian was very kind and helpful. Now when I think about it, I am comfortable in my decision."

Jean said the home she lives in now is too much to take care of and she's looking forward to being closer to her family.

"Plus, the socializing and new lifestyle an active adult community offers will be good for me," she added.

Jean didn't have to wait long before she met someone who fit the bill. At a recent party held in the newly constructed clubhouse, Jean met another woman who was also recently widowed and nervous about starting a new life.

"As it turns out, she is going to be my next door neighbor," Jean said. "I told her this is the perfect style of living for us. It is a carefree, resort lifestyle where everyday will be like being on vacation."

When not walking the grounds or swimming in one of the heated pools, Jean to enjoy a good book from the balcony of her 1,337-square-foot condominium.

"The workmanship on a K. Hovnanian home is magnificent," said Jean. "When I learned they were building in Bridgewater, I rushed over there on opening day. It is absolutely spectacular and is a perfect size for me."

Jean anticipates things going smoothly and is looking forward to moving into her new home in early spring 2006.
